Affiliate disclosure
radovian.online earns a commission when a reader subscribes to a product after following one of our partner links. This page explains exactly how that works, what it costs you (nothing) and what it is not allowed to change (what we write).
The short version
- Some links on this site are affiliate links. They are labelled partner link in text you can see, not only in the HTML.
- If you buy after using one, the vendor pays us a commission through an affiliate network.
- You pay the vendor’s normal price. The commission comes out of the vendor’s margin, not out of your pocket, and your price is the same as it would have been had you gone to the vendor directly.
- It is the only income this site has. There is no other advertising and readers are never charged.
- It does not buy a recommendation, a rating or the removal of a criticism.
How you can tell which links are commercial
We use four signals at once, deliberately more than the law strictly requires:
- A disclosure bar at the very top of every page, above the article, before any offer.
- A disclosure box immediately under the headline on any article that carries a partner link, before the first piece of promotional content.
- A visible label on every button — the words “partner link” are rendered inside the button itself, including in the sidebar.
- A note directly beneath each button stating that we earn a commission and that it costs you nothing extra.
Technically, every commercial link also carries rel="sponsored nofollow noopener", which is
what search engines use to identify a paid link. Our one script re-applies those attributes after it has
rewritten a link, so a commercial link on this site is never left unmarked.
Who we have a commercial relationship with
At present the site carries partner links to TotalAV, a consumer security product published by Protected.net Group Limited, through an affiliate network. We have no other commercial relationship, no sponsorship arrangement and no paid placements. If that changes, this page changes first.
We are not an agent, reseller or representative of TotalAV or of any other company, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by them. See the legal notice.
What the commission does not buy
- No prior review. No advertiser or network sees an article before publication.
- No approval rights. Nobody outside C O R E C T spol. s r.o. can require a change of wording, a rating, or the removal of a criticism.
- No effect on placement. Commission rates play no part in what appears where.
- No suppression of the free alternative. Where the operating system already does the job, we say so, even though saying so costs us money.
These commitments are part of our editorial policy, which also lists what we refuse to publish: invented testimonials, invented ratings, fabricated statistics, artificial urgency and guaranteed-result claims.
What happens to your data when you use a partner link
On our side: nothing is stored. The link passes through a short page on this domain that sets no cookie and forwards you on. Campaign parameters that are already in the address of the page you are reading (a click identifier from an advertising platform, for example) are carried across in the URL so the visit can be attributed — nothing is written to your device, and nothing is invented if those parameters are absent.
On the vendor’s side: once you arrive, their policy applies and they will very probably set cookies. We receive commission reports as aggregate figures, not as identifiable people. The cookie policy covers this in more detail.
If you would rather we did not earn anything
Read the article, then open the vendor’s site yourself by typing its address or searching for it. You will get the same product at the same price and we will get nothing. We would rather tell you that plainly than pretend the choice does not exist.
Legal basis for this disclosure
Disclosing a commercial relationship is required of us by the EU Unfair Commercial Practices Directive (2005/29/EC), which treats undisclosed advertorial as a misleading practice, and by Czech Act No. 634/1992 Coll. on consumer protection. It is also required by the advertising platforms whose rules we operate under. We would do it anyway: a recommendation you cannot see the incentive behind is worth nothing.
